    Hi,

we are experiencing a rather curious bug with PayPal, where SOME bundle configurations can’t be checked out due to the “CANNOT_BE_NEGATIVE” error showing up when customers try to check out.

I haven’t been able to figure out what exactly causes this error, especially since there is no discount set at all, each item gets added to the bundle at full price.

PayPal is the only payment method, so it is crucial that it works with the bundle Plugin…

For example, a customer tried to check out

    • 3 Personen (2x)
    • K?sevariation (1x)
    • Wurstvariation (1x)
    • Nutella (1x)

with a total of 111€ and the error then showed up when they tried to check the order out (that’s how we got notified about the error message)

    Hi @accudoramona ,

FYI, this error was caused in some payment plugins since our plugin uses a negative amount to offer discounts for smart bundles. So if your bundles are using the fixed total price or auto-priced method but with an amount discount, there will be errors like this.

Unfortunately, we can’t provide any fix or solution to this as it’s the basic mechanism of pricing and discount in our plugin.

Instead, you can try to configure the auto-priced bundles with a percentage discount or offering coupons/vouchers when it comes to amount discount for bundles. Or you can kindly consider some other alternative payment plugins/methods for your site.

    Best regards.

    Hi @janilyn409,

thank you for your reply. In the meantime, we have slightly altered the bundling-process by avoiding 0€ amounts entirely and were able to “fix” the error – thank you anyway!

Hi, I tried to configure the auto-priced bundles with a percentage discount but it doesn’t work either. Do you have a step by step explanation for that, to be sure I understand correctly. Thanks a lot in advance
