• Resolved sivw

I would like people using the donate button to decide what they wish to donate so I left it blank in the settings. When you click on our “button” PayPal pops up and the amount defaults to 0.00 but people have not been able to change the amount. I have temporarily changed the amount to $30.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, have you spoken to PayPal about this issue. It might be related to your PayPal account. Please view the following video which shows you how to set up the plugin and add a donate button to your site.

Let me know how you go.

    Regards

    Thank you for your reply.

I originally had it set up with one of the default buttons and it worked fine. I just updated the settings and selected the 2nd donate button on the list but left the url for the custom button in the field.

When I went back to the homepage (https://sivw.ca) the “custom button” was still there and when I clicked on it it took me to PayPal and I was able to change the amount to whatever I wanted.

Seems a little odd, but at least it works now.
