PayPal Credit displayed when not checked

  • I am using the PayPal Smart Checkout and although the Payment Methods –> PayPal Credit box is unchecked, PayPal Credit still shows as an option when the Layout –> Vertical radio button is chosen. Only the “PayPal Checkout” is displayed when the “Horizontal ” layout is selected.

    I have noticed others having this same issue. This is occurring in both Chrome and Edge.

    Hi, Thanks for the response. The issue is similar to the previous post, but occurs in both Chrome and Edge. These are the Advanced Settings:

    Advanced Settings:
    Size = Responsive
    Shape = Pill
    Layout = Horizontal

    PayPal Methods – PayPal Credit = Unchecked
    PayPal Methods – ELV = Unchecked

    Disable Standard PayPal Checkout = Checked

    With the settings above only the “PayPal Checkout” button is shown. If you change the layout = “Vertical”, 3 buttons are shown including “PayPal Credit”
