Hi, what shortcode are you currently using?

    Thank you

Hi, what happens when you disable our plugin? Does the PayPal credit button disappear?

If I disable the plugin, all I see is the short code

Hi, this is very odd. Just for testing purposes, can you disable all other plugins except ours. Let me know what happens?

    Thank you

I disabled all the plugins and then activated WordPress Simple PayPal Shopping Cart
    The problem still exists…

Hi, I have done more testing and I cannot reproduce your issue. This must be a cache issue. Are you using Cloudflare or something similar? Does your server run any caching system? Do you have a cache installed in your site?

    Regards

I do not have this problem when I use Microsoft Edge!
    (Version 80.0.361.69 (Official build) (64-bit))
I do not have a cache plugin but my host may have one
Can you tell me how I could tell if there is a cache on the server and I can have a look for you. Or I can ask on Monday
    Could it be Chrome?

Hi, make sure clear the servers cache. Also if you have a cache plugin in your site, make sure you also clear cache. Another action you can take, is to disable and delete the plugin and install a fresh new copy. Let me know if this helps you.

    Thank you

I have cleared the cache on the server but still the problem persists

Hi, I am sorry but I am out of ideas. As I mentioned above I can’t reproduce this issue on my dev site :(.

I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate further your issue.

    Thank you

    Thank you anyway
I think there must be a clue here that it does not go wrong on Edge but does in Chrome
    What does that imply?

For the Smart checkout, PayPal will simply ignore anything else sometimes and show the buttons that it thinks is best for the customer to do the checkout. PayPal shows those based on your merchant account and what facility the customer has (based on his countries). It is a little bit weird but thats how the PayPal smart checkout works (they control more of the checkout flow).

Disable the smart checkout and only keep the standard PayPal checkout option if you want. You can disable the smart checkout option by unchecking the following:

Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Enable PayPal Smart Checkout

Also, make sure the following one is not checked (so it shows the default standard checkout):

Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Disable Standard PayPal Checkout

    Thank you

Does that explain why the PayPal credit option shows in Chrome but not in Edge?
