    Hello lovely Community,
first of all thank you very much for that great plug-in.
I have spend 2 days now testing all of them, but it seems only this one set especially the 3rd party cookies to disabled at first. So you really have to accept the cookies first, to let google and facebook cookies loead.

So I am using paypal with my woocommerce, but somehow it will not detect the paypal cookies at all? So the paypal cookies are always on ??
Why is that? And how could I disabled them by default?

    Thanks a lot!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @serkankurnaz,

Thank you for the kind words! I have checked your page and can confirm that the PayPal cookies are indeed placed before consent. I will consult with our developer and get back to you today.

    Regards,
    Leon

    Hi @serkankurnaz,

    Could you try adding:

    https://www.paypal.com/tagmanager/pptm.js
    https://www.paypalobjects.com/api/checkout.js

To (y)our script center? Let me know, so we can check.

    regards Aert

    Thanks!

@aahulsebos you mean to add them on the 2nd part right of script center?
    URLs of scripts right?

    Hey Aert,

thank you very much for your great support and work around, not it works! ??

PS: I have one last question: Why is the paypal cookie not loading while in incognito mode, but it is loading already before accepting in the normal mode?

PPS: Also when I run the cookie-test on my website with normale chrome mode, I get sometimes the error: “Not following” is active, so must cookies cant be detected, something like that, eventhough I am not using any adblocker or incognito mode…when I try it on edge, it works and I get no error.
So how can I disable the “not tracking/not following” mode temporalaly on my chrome browser, because I really hate the edge one…
THANKS AGAIN for the great support!

    Hi @serkankurnaz @leonwimmenhoeve and everyone,

You can block certain scripts, from plugins for example, which set third-party cookies, by adding the URL’s in script center:

For the PayPal add-on for WooCommerce you can add:

    https://www.paypal.com/tagmanager/pptm.js
    https://www.paypalobjects.com/api/checkout.js

This will block the cookies before consent. You can check this in chrome incognito mode for a before and after.

This also works for any other iFrames or Javascript which are not blocked by default.

Running the cookie scan on your website, we recommend the following:

    1. Incognito mode. Clearing the cache of your browser. So already set cookies in your browser are not accidentally listed.
    2. Removing/Disabling extensions that will manipulate the data. e.g. AdBlocker and Ghostery.
    3. For websites on staging environments or in flux, because of server migration, etc we recommend the cookie scan after big updates and configuring Complianz should be done at the end of development.

This is the reply to the second question and this resolves the thread.

@aahulsebos I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site even a sandbox installation. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials. I have flagged your account temporarily. That just means that your post will need to be approved and @ notifications from you will not work.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
