I have recently set up my online shop, and just today I had a customer wanting to buy the only product I offer (it’s a virtual and downloadable product, an ebook). However, when wanting to pay with PayPal, an error message appears that says “zip code is not valid zip code”.

My shop is in Spanish, so I just translated from “código postal no es un código postal válido”.

It seems this problem with the address being required or not valid is common with WooCommerce and PayPal Express plug-in, as I have read many entries here, but none seem to give a general solution to this. I don’t have restricted any countries, I’ve deactivated shipping calculator and have unchecked the “require billing address” and “phone number” because that’s not needed. The checkout form fields for address are marked as “optional”.

Please help, I really need this to work.
