NOTE: Although BACS and cheque payments are enabled, I filter these out normally on the checkout screen as these payments are only for long-standing members. I did try without filtering them out and it makes no difference to the PayPal options.

I tested on my site but couldn’t replicate when clicking on the Pay for order link, PayPal checkout shows up as an option there: https://d.pr/i/2w9upR

I suspect there might be some gateway exclusion rules in your Memberships plugin. To test, can you try to create a simple product without any membership attached to it, then create an order manually then click on the Customer payment page link to go to the order pay page: https://d.pr/D54if1. Do you see PayPal checkout there?

Hi – thanks for checking that. However I am still not able to see the PayPal checkout options on my test server even after deactivating my membership plugin, deactivating my child theme and even changing to a standard theme – I tried 2017 – still the same – no checkout options on the order-pay screen – they do appear everywhere else. I will try deactivating other plugins to see if I get anywhere with this!

Hi – I just set up WooCommerce and WooCommerce PayPal check gateway on a barebones website I own. I integrated with my personal PayPal account set up a dummy product and a guest order – take a look at the order-pay screen –

No checkout options. There are no plugins installed other than Woo, PayPal checkout and WordFence security (my other sites use different security). The PayPal checkout options are all visible on the product page, checkout page and basket. https://jones5websolutions.com/index.php/product/wordpress-fully-featured-hosting/

I checked the URL you shared and indeed didn’t see the checkout button.

I did a test on my test site and I didn’t see it as well:

However, when I disabled PayPal Checkout and instead I use the last WooCommerce PayPal Payments which offers checkout as well, the button is there:

Yes that does work – the order at https://jones5websolutions.com/index.php/checkout/order-pay/37/?pay_for_order=true&key=wc_order_aFJXHTf9B5KNt now shows all the options. The new plugin looks great. I will set that up on the Women’s History Network site once they give me developer access to their PayPal account.
