    Dear support team,

my issue already occured 2.5 years ago to other learnpress-users. When a customer is buying a course and choose Paypal as payment option, the system is not submitting the Capture Call for the transaction. The order is being created, and the customer is successfully going through the PayPal approval process. However, once they are returned to my website, the final call is not being sent by LearnPress. So in fact no transaction did take place, the customer has no access to the course as the order status is “pending”.

I checked all the settings, created new APIs and the Paypal Support could’nt help, so it seems that there may is a bug on Learnpress, although the issue occured before the last update. It suddenly started on 4th of Februrary.

    Hope you can help.

    Thank you in advance.

    Lara

    Hello,

thanks for the quick response. I checked my learnpress version and it already is updated to the 4.2.7.8. version, but my issue is still occuring. Do I have to download it again (how?)?

    Thanks again.

    Dear brianvu-tp,

thank you very much. The beta version fixed the issue!

i also noticed a small visual change in the last version. when a course is selected and you are in the overview page of a course, all headings such as “functions”, “target groups”, “FAQs” are now listed one below the other and the color scheme is also different. Before it was more compact with the headings clickable in different tabs. If you could revise this again, it would be fantastic. i would appreciate it!

Thank you for the great support.

    Hi Lara,

You’re very welcome! We’re delighted to hear that the beta version resolved the PayPal issue.

Regarding the visual changes on the course overview page, it sounds like you’re seeing our new “Modern” layout for single courses. To revert back to the classic tabbed layout, you can easily change this in the LearnPress settings.

Simply navigate to LearnPress -> Settings -> Courses and change the Layout single course option from “Modern” to “Classic.” This will restore the previous tabbed layout for your course overview pages.

We appreciate your feedback and are glad we could assist you!

    Best regards,
    Brianvu-tp
