Paypal cannot process an order that includes coupon with restricitions

  • Dear all, I do believe that I’m doing something wrong but process an order with Paypal (sandbox or live mode) when coupon with restrictions was applied is not possible. I’m constantly receiving:

    I tried that on the latest WP 5.7.1. with only two plugins: WooCommerce 5.3.0 annd WooCommerce PayPal Payments 1.3.1 (by WooCommerce). Coupon has the following params:

    Please let me know how to proceed. Should I try with other PayPal plugin?

    Hi @envox,

    From this screenshot, I see that the coupon has a limit of 1 use only. Just to check, have you tried using a different coupon or increasing the usage limit of this coupon?

    Yes, if you set 2 or more it works. Anyway I find another plugin which works just fine, but it would be nice for your other users to take a look at this issue.

    Glad to hear that you were able to solve it – thanks for letting us know!

    Just to point out, if the coupon limit is 1, once you’ve used it even in a test purchase, it ceases to be valid. This is why increasing the coupon limit allowed it to work again.

    Yes, of course, I’m talking about first and only redeem of such coupon and it doesn’t work! So, it’s resolved for me but could generates further misery to others (I spent two days wondering what is going on).
