I have the PayPal Smart checkout and the PayPal Standard checkout enabled, but our users do not realise there are 2 different options here
Could you make this more obvious somehow?
Put a line between the 2 buttons?
Make the standard checkout pill shaped?
It does not matter to me what the solutions is, just that the users are aware there are 2 buttons or 2 options open to them

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi, I checked your link above. Which PayPal buttons are the standard and which are the smart checkout buttons? I am curious to know?

Put a line between the 2 buttons?

This is something you can add yourself between both buttons.

    Thank you

I have put a screen dump here
    https://ebps.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/screen-dump.jpg
The PayPal Smart checkout is gold pill-shaped
The PayPal Standard checkout looks like 5 credit cards, just underneath but above “Powered by PayPal”

I have added the short code [show_wp_shopping_cart] in a widget in the content sidebar
It will only appear if you have done a “add to cart”

How could I add a line between the 2 buttons myself?

    Hi,

I have added the short code [show_wp_shopping_cart] in a widget in the content sidebar

Did you add one shortcode or two shortcodes in the sidebar?

    One

Hi, so that means that the buttons will only show when someone adds a product to the cart. However if they only choose one button, the other button will never show up. If this is the case, what happens if you add a line after the shortcode in the sidebar?

    Regards

    I think you are confused

I added a line and it shows up all the time

I refer you to this image
    https://ebps.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/screen-dump.jpg

As you can see quite clearly, all the buttons are visible

Your responses don’t make a lot of sense to me and it sounds like you don’t know how the plugin works

    Who are you?

Hi, my apologies for not understanding your question correctly.

I can see in your image the two buttons on the right hand side sidebar. This much I understand.

I have added the short code [show_wp_shopping_cart] in a widget in the content sidebar
It will only appear if you have done a “add to cart”

How could I add a line between the 2 buttons myself?

I thought you could add a line, however now that I have analyzed your question further, I am not sure how this can be achieved.

I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate further your issue/request.

    Thank you

The plugin doesn’t have anything like what you are asking for. This will need to be handled as a customization job. You can get in touch with us from our website if you are interested to get a customization job done.

    Thanks for replying
My point is that, whilst you know and I know, that there are 2 “buttons” here that take you to 2 different PayPal portals, but this is not clear to the users
I am not asking for customisation
I am making a request that you make it more obvious that the user has the option either to use the PayPal Smart Checkout or the PayPal standard checkout in order to pay with a credit card
My request was triggered by a user not knowing that they could pay with a credit card
Is this not a reasonable request?
