    Hi there,

our checkout (made with Funnelkit) has issues when people don’t accept cookies. What happens is that Paypal button doesn’t show up.

Any ideas why and how to fix this?

    Thanks!

    Hi @gregagostincar,

    Greetings from CookieYes!

Issue might be due the blocking of any PayPal cookie prior to consent. To make this work prior to consent, you should move those cookies to Necessary category.

While moving cookies to Necessary category, please make sure that it doesn’t store any personal information of the visitors. Also consider seeking legal advice to ensure you’re meeting your obligations under GDPR and other relevant regulations.

Thanks a lot for your quick reply. How do I move cookies to Necessary that? Are there any instructions you could send me?

    Thanks!

    Hi @gregagostincar,

Please go to the Cookie Manager tab > Cookie List > Select category of cookie and edit the cookie to change it’s category.

Found it. Which cookies should I move to the “Necessary category”? There are multiple cookies in multiple categories, so I am not sure which ones to move..

    Thanks!

    Hi @gregagostincar,

As we checked, Paypal button is working now prior to consent. Also please consider seeking legal advice to ensure you’re meeting your obligations under GDPR and other relevant regulations.
