    Hi,
    I searched and couldn’t find this issue discussed, unless I missed it.
    The problem we’re having is that the ‘PayPal’ vault button shows only on the ‘cart’ page and not on the ‘checkout’ page where I think it belongs.
    When a client adds a product and subscription they are presented with 2 options on the cart page: PayPal button or ‘Proceed to checkout’, if they sign in to PayPal all is good, but if they proceed to checkout they cannot use PayPal as it tells them ‘Please select a payment method’ and the PayPal button does not show up, only the credit card form.
    How can we have the PayPal button show on the ‘checkout’ page and not the ‘cart’ page?
    Thanks!

  • Hi,
    I’m having the same trouble with the error “Oops, something went wrong. Please try a different payment method.” printed in the frontend.
    No js errors in the browser console, no server error in the error log / woocommerce log.

    Thank you

    @daviday @filippotasca do you both have URLs for your web shops?

    @jobthomas,
    Yes, though the payment method has been disabled until we can figure out the issue: https://urlgone.com/4a00ab/

    @daviday – hmmm, it’s going to be difficult to troubleshoot with the extension being disabled. Did you try changing to a default theme to see if that solved it?

    Also, did you activate the debug log and did that give an error code (a number)?

    Any update to this?

    Hi @partounian and @daviday,

    I had the same problem. The issue is that the Braintree JS library included with the plugin is hopelessly out of date.

    Until WooCommerce fixes this, you can just need to edit one of the plugin files to fix, and it works perfectly.

    Follow these steps: https://alan.fyi/braintree-paypal-and-woocommerce/
