PayPal button not showing on cart and checkout

Hi there,
I installed the “YITH PayPal Express Checkout for WooCommerce” plug-in in order to show the PayPal Express Checkout button on the cart and checkout pages. I set up the plug-in and entered the necessary PayPal keys but when I visit the cart and checkout pages the button is just not showing. I see the Google Pay button coming from the Stripe Gateway plug-in but not the PayPal one.

I customized the cart and checkout templates but I left all the original hooks there (and this is confirmed by the fact that the Google Pay button is there).

What could be the problem here?
