I’m trying to collect registrations for an event. I used the registration form template, but it was creating new site users so I recreated the form as a contact form instead. I was able to collect payments via the first form, but am not able to do so with this new form. All the setting are the same as far as I can tell and the PayPal/pay with credit card buttons are visible.

I’ve double checked the API info and it’s set to live etc. I have two forms on the same page. One is to collect information for a free event. The other is to collect information and payments for the other events.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?

On a separate but related note, Forminator is using a lot of resources and HostPapa is getting concerned. It would be disastrous if they suspend my site in the middle of an event registration campaign. Any thoughts on what might be causing this? Could it be the high level of user registrations triggered by the early version of the form (mentioned above)?

    Thanks!

    Hi @kartay1

Sorry to hear you are having those issues.

Forminator shouldn’t use this kind of server resource, it may be a plugin conflict.

I tested the form and I don’t see any issue on the console.

Does HostPapa have a staging environment? Or daily backups?

If so, could you please run a full plugin conflict test on your website? You can follow the plugin conflict test on section E & F:

When you say that you tested the form on the console, does that mean you were able to use the form and get to the point of making the payment?

I’ve done a lot of the suggested troubleshooting and I still can’t make the paypal buttons clickable.

If I send you the code are you able to troubleshoot it?

    Hi @kartay1,

When you say that you tested the form on the console, does that mean you were able to use the form and get to the point of making the payment?

This means that there were no errors in the console that would tell us what might be going on and why further troubleshooting is needed.

Could you export your forms by clicking on Gear icon next to your form in Forminator > Forms panel, upload them to any file sharing service like GDrive or Dropbox and provide us with a download link so we can check it out further on our end?

You can use our contact form to send us the download link privately:
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/contact/#i-have-a-different-question

    Send in:

    Subject: “Attn: Predrag Dubajic”
    – Link to your WordPress site
    – Download link to the export file
    – Link back to this thread for reference
    – Any other relevant urls/info

If I send you the code are you able to troubleshoot it?

Could you tell us which code are you referring to exactly?

    Cheers,
    Predrag
