    Hey Folks,

For the record, which I’m sure you’ve heard before, you should not have moved the forum over to wp, as it sucks. Stupidly bad UX.

That aside, I need some assistance in customizing the paypal buttons I’ve set up. I want to privately give links and that sort of thing (again, something you can’t do here). What’s the best way to get assistance from you?

I’m trying to change the paypal button – which I’ve done with the ‘image’ shortcode. However the buttons I have styled already in my wp theme have a nice transition and hover color. As obviously the button is the most important thing arguably for s2member, I hope there is a little more customization available than a single image with no hover or transition.

Any hints, tips, support docs or assistance available?

:-(, and it’s even less customizable out the box with pro forms.

I think s2 should consider adding in easy edit functionality for their checkout forms, as this arguably is what the entire businesses success revolves around, the reason s2members installed in the first place, and it’s locked with extremely bad styling.

I mean, it uses 3 different fonts lol.

Let me know how I get assistance with this when you’re on. Thanks

These should be set by your theme. I haven’t had to explicitly override the s2Member form fonts on any of my sites: they just take the fonts from the theme.

But if this isn’t happening for you, you can always use CSS to change the fonts to whatever you’d prefer.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah it seems they may be set that way. I’ve used custom css however to override these to no avail unfortunately.

Can you share a link to your site where you’re having this problem?

How do I do so privately?

You’d have to do that with Pro support.

Ok. I have a pro account. Where would I sign in for pro support? When I last signed in, all the forums just pointed me to here ??

    Here, and select trouble ticket.

Yeah. You have to admit though that for support, the built in plugin wordpress support forum has an extremely poor UX. I think I paid 200 for a pro account with s2member :-/

They’re responding on that link you said which is great, and I appreciate the time you’ve taken out to assist too.

To update – the reason custom styling isn’t working with my pro forms is because they’re loading prior to the styling of the plugin, thus being overwritten. I’m in discussions with s2member about a solution and will update for those experiencing the same problem. (this will be why it’s using several fonts and poorly designed html buttons).

Well, actually, the link I provided is the link for the Pro support you’ve paid for. The forum here is just for the free program.

Glad they’ve been able to identify the problem, and thanks for keeping us uupdated!
