We’ve just noticed an issue with PayPal and Taxes

We have TAX on, set to display excluding tax in the shop and cart.

An order in WooCommerce shows the following:

    Products total: £87.50
    Shipping: £5.63
    TAX: £18.63
    Total: £111.76

    This is correct

When the order is passed to PayPal (using the built in plugin) it shows the following in PayPal and the email it sends:

    Purchase Total: £105
    VAT: £0.00
    Postage Ammount: 6.76

The total (£111.76) is correct – but it is treating the purchase/carriage values as ex-tax

How do we set it to show, in this case:

    Purchase Total: £87.50
    VAT: £18.63
    Postage Ammount: £5.63

    Many thanks

    Hi @seank123

Typically issues like this are caused by a theme or plugin conflict. Try switching back to a default theme like Twenty Nineteen and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce to see if this resolves the issue. If so, then re-enable each one at a time until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.

Make sure to test in an incognito browser and to clear any server cache after conflict testing.

Message for Sean @seank123 sorry to reach out to you here but the thread I saw you on was closed. I noticed you did an ancient wisdom drop shipping upload, do you offer that as a service or was it just for yourself?

@paultheseer it is for a site II am currently working on – been put on hold for a bit though as I have been tied up with other stuff but will be going back to very soon.

What was it you were trying to do?
