    Hi there,
    We offer PayPal as a payment gateway on our site and have had no real issues. That said when Dutch customers purchase via PayPal, they end up using their iDEAL gateway – somehow it’s linked to PayPal. The problem is that PayPal doesn’t see the finds arrive and the transaction doesn’t complete.

    Is this an iDEAL issue or a PayPal issue?

    Do you happen to have iDEAL extension enabled on your account?

    Can you please go to WooCommerce > Status and click the button there to generate a System Status Report? Then you can copy-and-paste it into your reply. That will help us understand what the situation is.

    Could you also take a screenshot from the order notes of one of the orders where the transaction is not being completed?

    I’m having the exact same issue. Customers even get charge (temporary hold) but there is no invoice, no failed order, no PayPal receipt, nothing. Shows absolutely nothing, i only know customer tried because they send me pictures of the bank with the hold.

    The rare thing is that some do work, which is extra weird. There must be something wrong in the plugin or within PayPal themselves.

    AGAIN some do work, so everything is setup correctly, and matter fact is the only issue IDEAL I take payment from all over Europe, they all work perfect. NO issues at all

    i called paypal, they straight up told me is the third party plug in issue.

    i have hide the payment method IDEAL because my customer believe they are getting scammed upon receiving absolutely no record of the transaction except in their bank.

    One more important thing, this happened with the old plug in getting unsupported in March 2022 as well as new plug in updated with the post march version.

    Also important, this is strictly a paypal issue, when i was using stripe, never had this issue.
