PayPal adds ‘default delivery charge’ to WooCommerce virtual product. Why?
-
Using WooCommerce to sell music CDs, and virtual downloads.
Have setup Stripe and PayPal as payment gateways.Everything works ok on Stripe.
When purchasing a virtual product using PayPal, a delivery charge (of £1) is added to the checkout page. It is labelled:
“Delivery: Default – £1.00 GBP”
When clicking ‘Default’ for more information, a pop-up shows:
“Select a delivery method.
The following shipping options are supplied by the merchant.
Default – £1.00 GBP”There is only this delivery method listed (with a radio button), and it cannot be de-selected.
No delivery (shipping) class is assigned to virtual products in WooCommerce.
This does not occur when using Stripe. How do I prevent this delivery charge from being added?
