Paypal 3d Secure

  • Hi there

    Got an email from Paypal saying we would have to use 3d Secure by March to continue using their service. Cant quite figure out if your plugin supports this as there are not options in WP-admin about it.

    Could you clarify the plugins position on this?

    Basically long and short of it was, you need to use 3d secure. If you dont we will suspend your account.

    same problem cant get 3d secure working no matter what i do seems like going to have to find another solution paypal no help with this and cardinal no help either why is it so hard to set up there is not long to go and backwards and forwards with emails still not working this should be easy if you all knew this had to be done im very very frustrated with this

    If you want to continue using this plugin with 3D secure, it seems like Cardinal Commerce (PayPals official parnter) supplies a plugin to integrate 3D secure into WooCommerce. You can read about it here:

    It has a link to register with Cardinal Commerce near the bottom of the page.

    It is all a mess to be honest.
    I have been trying to implement this on both a woocommerce site and a magento site since December but neither work.
    I have contacted Cardinal Commerce support and to be fair they have been working with me and keep in touch but things still are not working. They have told me they are working on updated plugins/fixes to get things working and last week told me an update was about to be available. I will be replying back to them today to share the results of some testing I have been doing (I managed to get 1 transaction passed with 3d secure today then all subsequent ones would fail).
    The fact there is now just 3.5 months before cut off date though I can see this being a huge problem for many people seeing that currently it does not work (or at least for many as far as I can see) for woocommerce and magento (no idea if the same on other platforms) and there is just one 3 d secure processor Cardinal Commerce therefore no alternative solutions to try. It isnt like Paypal can move the deadline date either as this is required by law.

    Cardinal commerce has got mine working with the PayPal pro app for WooCommerce a week ago and it’s been working fine since then but we have been working on it for month’s hope this helps we was pulling our hair out over this
