Whenever I try paying thru credit card using Paymongo, the spinner just keeps on spinning and nothing’s happening. The order is created on Woocommerce but the status always says “Pending Payment”. Paypal payment option works fine, but we need to accept credit cards too.

Can you please fix this ASAP? I see that this is a similar issue happening with the previous topic.

We are currently working on a fix for this. This happens when the card used for payments needs to have authorization (3DS) before it can be processed. We’ll be releasing an update over the weekend.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Kindly turn off the credit card payment feature for now to avoid any faulty transactions with your customers.

    Thanks.

    Hello CynderTech,

May we know if there’s a new release containing the fix for this plugin? We would like to launch our online store ASAP. Hope you could release this by today. Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the Paymongo for Woocommerce plugin, and although the credit card/debit card transactions are successful, there seems to be a problem with loading some additional elements for authentication, in particular with 3D Secure. It seemed that the button to authenticate is not properly displaying well on the checkout page upon clicking “Place Order”, which may cause confusion to the payee, thinking the transaction is not going through.

I have sent a video screenshot of the following tests using two different cards.

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/18tM62DvQKo-dDHURh4c5DoeDDXCCXXy4/view

Also, I cannot generate a webhook key for Grabpay and GCash because the webhook tool says “Invalid Secret Key” even through I tried to input our secret key. Here’s the video screenshot:

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1d3hVxHkRr4S3DsdxVaTR2HYDBLsv0vsP/view

Can you please have this fixed ASAP? Thank you.

Addition: If I use the webhook generator inside Woocommerce settings, it generates the secret key but the error response code is 400 (please see my video screenshot here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tMozbSX2syJdbtw8swQXmc7MJmZAAnTx/view)

I tried to use the secret key to enable GCash or GrabPay, and though it allowed me to pay successfully, the transaction is never logged within Paymongo, and the order status on Woocommerce is “Pending Payment”. However the amount was debited from either GCash or GrabPay

Please fix this ASAP. Thank you.

Hi @joelaldor, thanks for reaching out. Apologies for the delay on the updates on this thread. We’ve managed to release several updates over the past few weeks, including several fixes.

Kindly update your plugin and give it a test.

    Thanks.

I had the same issue with the latest version of the plugin. After successful payments and closing the window it just keeps loading.

Hello @jameskira, what payment method were you using and what workflow were you doing when you encountered that error?

You may also send screenshots to [email protected] for faster checks.

    Thanks.

the problem is on credit card payment you can test it by adding this product https://fitacademy.ph/product/test-training/ to cart and select credit card on checkout.

You can see the issue recording on this link => https://youtu.be/GCmH6XEWipE

To replicate the issue. Follow the steps below
    1. Add a product to cart.
    2. Go to checkout and complete the form.
    3. Select credit card and fill up the form
    4. Until you see a popup that says transaction is complete. Indeed its complete but the UI still keeps flooding. which is this video https://youtu.be/GCmH6XEWipE

@jameskira it’s enabled on live mode so I won’t be able to test it on our end without using an actual credit card.

If you would like to schedule a more in-depth check and troubleshooting, please send an e-mail to [email protected] and request for a schedule.

    Thanks.

@joelaldor @jameskira have you tried the latest version of the plugin? We’ve released several fixes already for issues you’ve encountered, and we would like to have some feedback from your end. Thanks.

Hi @cynderpaymongo, I have already updated and tested the plugin, and I am happy to inform that card payments, GCash and Grabpay are already working. We have reactivated this already on our Woocommerce store. This is very helpful as this would centralize our settlements. Thank you very much for improving this plugin!

One other note na lang: the description for credit card payment is still “null” on Paymongo dashboard, while for GCash and Grabpay merong description that looks like “wc_order_zygJrQS0bfy9V”. You may want to take a look into that. Thank you.

@joelaldor we’re glad to hear that! Thank you for using the plugin.

Got it on the order ID. We’ll definitely check that out. Marking this topic now as resolved.

Hi @cynderpaymongo I just installed the latest version, 1.4.4. I am still getting the spinner on checkout

I am using the test credentials

How to generate the secret key?

I click on the link and it bring me to the website https://paymongo-webhook-tool.meeco.dev/

On this website, my webhook url is inserted. But how about secret key? Where can i get it?

Is there a clear step by step tutorial or video tutorial?
