    It looks like you are experiencing issues with payments processing via Square, where it simply freezes and no errors are being displayed or logged, correct?

    I’d like to gather some additional information, please clarify the following:

    • Does this only happen with Square, or is this issue present with other enabled payment gateways/methods?
    • Does this happen with all products, or specific products/product types (i.e simple, variable, subscription)?
    • Has this been an ongoing issue or one that recently surfaced? If the latter, do you recall any site changes/updates before this issue first popped up?
    • Are any of these orders being logged in the backend?

    Additionally, please can you share a copy of your sites System Status Report so that we can have a better understanding of your sites current environment.

    Hi @myrafletcher,

    Does this issue occur with both card payments and digital payments such as Apple Pay or GPay? Have you tried testing it after turning off the Digital Wallet?

    Can you please enable Debug mode (WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Square > Advanced Settings > Debug Mode), do another transaction, and see if there is any error log record in WooCommerce > Status > Logs?

    Based on the logs you provided, it seems like your WooCommerce-Square integration is making requests to list locations. The responses indicate successful communication with Square, and your domain has been verified with Apple Pay.

    Let’s try to identify what is causing the issue by following some steps:

    • Update everything: Please make sure all your plugins and the theme are updated, as outdated features can cause issues.
    • Clear Cache: Make sure to clear any caching mechanisms you have in place, both on your site and any caching plugins you might be using. Sometimes, outdated cache can cause unexpected behavior.
    • Conflict test: If the issue persists, you might need to do a full conflict test. I’ll share below how to do this.

    To test, you’ll first want to change the theme on your site to Storefront, then check to see if the issue is still present. If that resolves the issue, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have an update or fix for you.

    If changing the theme doesn’t help, you’ll want to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and take a look. If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one (gradually), checking after each, to see where the issue is coming from.

    — Be sure you have a good backup in place of your full site and database. You can ask your host for backup functionality or you can consider using a service like Jetpack. If something goes wrong, you will be able to restore it.

    — Also, you can consider using a plugin like Health Check & Troubleshooting. This is a plugin developed by the WordPress community and it is helpful to disable plugins without affecting your current site visitors.

    — It is important to consider as well a staging functionality in case you would not like to touch your production site (you can ask your host if they offer this service), or you can use WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.

    I have changed to a default theme, updated everything and disabled everything except woocommerce and square and its still happening
