Hi there. I need help removing ‘display: none !important; from the outlined section. See below images. It’s causing users to not have the ability to input card details. I basically need to know which file (I have WP FILE MANAGER) to locate the CSS. I believe it is CSS.

The people who built my website take too long and charge too much for such a small change.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @ricktotalcool

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that the input fields for the credit card details are hidden on your site’s checkout page and you would like to know how you can remove the CSS code display: none !important; to make it visible, correct?

Inspecting your site’s checkout page, I can see that the first payment option pertains to the third-party plugin Realex Direct Payment Gateway.

For us to investigate this further, can you please try to switch to the default Storefront theme and only WooCommerce and the Realex Direct Payment Gateway plugins are enabled and see if the input fields are already visible?

If so, then this kind of problem is usually caused by your theme or a third-party plugin present on your site. We can run a conflict test to verify this. I’d recommend cloning your site to a staging environment and performing the tests described on this guide without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin.

If this was caused by a third-party plugin present on your site, it would be best to reach out to the developers for further assistance here.

If this did not resolve the issue, please share your System Status Report, that will help us further troubleshoot.

You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

Let us know how it goes!

    Hi @ricktotalcool

I’m glad that switching to the default theme, resolved the issue here.

Now, please activate or enable your plugins one by one to see which is causing the conflict here.

Let us know how that goes!

Thank you. I didn’t deactivate any plug-ins. It just worked ?????♂?

    Hi @ricktotalcool ,

It appears that the theme you were using on your site was causing this since changing to Storefront seems to have resolved the issue.

Additionally, if the issue remained resolved once switching back to your previous theme, then it is also possible that there was custom CSS added which may have been removed when switching over to the Storefront theme.

I will go ahead and mark this as resolved then – feel free to create a new topic if you need further help ??

    Cheers!

Hi Roxy. Sorry I still need help removing it from my standard theme?

    Hi @ricktotalcool ,

Ah, gotcha! Apologies for the misunderstanding ??

You can navigate to Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS and see if there is any custom CSS which may have been added there?

Alternatively, you can check in the style.css file.

    Hope this helps!

Sorry to hear you’re struggling with this. As the issue is no longer present when using the Storefront theme, I recommend reaching out to the author of your current theme for assistance.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.
