• We connected the account using the plugin – but no payments are showing in paypal at all. None of the transactions have gone through.

    they are showing now – had to be turned live in Paypal – however each transaction is being put on hold because apparently its sending to an incorrect email address – does it default to the store admin email? or the linked paypal email when the setup was done?

    All payments made through the PayPal plugin flow through the PayPal Business account that you connected the plugin to. It doesn’t default to an admin email, it uses the account you connected the plugin to.

    If you setup the PayPal Business account at the time of connecting the plugin, then you may have entered the incorrect email address. Thus, PayPal created a new account for you using the information you entered in the account creation steps.

    You can always disconnect and re-connect the plugin to the desired account.
