    Hello.

    FIrstly I am not a computer specialist or coder.

    I have recently in the last three weeks started experiencing payment failures or billing address failures. It is intermittant. On some the payment fails completely and I get the following error;

    Square Payment Failed (Status code INVALID_ENUM_VALUE: “ is not a valid enum value for Country (line 1, character 496)) Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.

    On others the payment is successful but the billing address is either not shown, or on a payment today, the billing address is jumbled up with the shipping address.

    I have spoken with Sq and they cant see the failed payment and so they believe it to be occuring before reaching them, therefor at the woocommerce end.

    AN example transaction is no. 1854 10/02/2024 1341hrs.

    Hi @peteblackburn,

    It sounds like the issue may be related to the data being sent to Square from your WooCommerce store. The error message you’re receiving indicates an invalid value for the country field.

    For better assistance, can you please share a screenshot of that order? For screenshots, you may use https://snipboard.io – please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread.

    Additionally, first, disconnect and reconnect your account. Then go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Shipping settings and set Shipping destination to “Default to customer billing address”.

    If this makes no difference, please enable debug mode in the Square settings, make a transaction, and share the error log found under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
