I was just wondering whether its possible to add booking cancellation and payment information (links) in the emails.

For example, if someone were to book a session and then close their browser…how would they be able to pay for the session?

Similarly, if someone had booked regardless of whether they paid and shut the browser, how can they cancel their payment?

I haven’t used WP registrations as I want everybody to book each time anonymously without accounts.

I have noticed the functions available in the eme_rsvp.php file for cancelling and for forwarding to Paypal but not sure how I can make these show up separately.

Similarly I wouldn’t mind if I could actually have a separate page named ‘Cancel your booking’ where I could put the cancellation code. Or even the same with paypal…

    Is this possible?

If they book without payment via paypal: you can always include alternative means of payment in the mail being sent.
For the cancellation: see the placeholder #_REMOVEBOOKINGFORM

    Hi thanks for the response

I have the cancellation form using #_REMOVEBOOKINGFORM but it only seems to work in the Events Made Easy Settings Panel.

I would like a separate page for cancelling bookings.

But the placeholder doesn’t work on a separate page.

Also I would prefer if possible that the RSVP happens first and then the user pays after it has been approved. Reason being that if I am unable to attend a booking for other reasons, I won’t have to refund them…

Any ideas? Ideally within the approval email, there should be the payment button there…

The booking cancellation is linked to the event, so it only shows for that event.
You can always change/configure the “approved” email message to tell people to pay after you approved the booking in the backend. But this is a text mail, so no buttons are possible (yet). If you want this: open a feature request on the official forum: https://www.e-dynamics.be/bbpress
