• I’m using a newly installed (this last week) version of woocommerce 2.0.10 with the “Resort” theme, and I’ve come across the following bug:

When going from the payment gateway (Paypal sandbox) to the “thankyou” page back on my site, the cart hasn’t been shown as cleared in the “show cart in sidebar” widget. The cart is actually cleared if you go to another page (the cart-in-sidebar doesn’t show, which is how it is configured), or if you go to look at the cart directly from the “thankyou” page (which is probably what a customer thinking “wtf?!?” is actually likely to do.)

I suspect it’s just a sequencing error; the cart is probably cleared right after the “thankyou” page is displayed, rather than before, in which case I would expect this problem to be reproducible in many contexts. Otherwise, it is something special to my set-up which will take a bit of deeper digging.

In any case, thought this might be a first stop to try to get to the bottom of it.

BTW, overall enjoying woocommerce very much! ?? Thanks in advance for your thoughts and advice.

Also, I might mention that on the order received “thankyou” page, the cart indicator in the menu is still showing the number of items in the cart as the number of items just paid for, rather than zero. Which is also incorrect of course, but is consistent with the items still showing in the widget sidebar cart display.

I’m surprised no one from woo has picked up on this — do they actively monitor this channel very much? It may be a bug in just the theme I’m using, or actually part of woocommerce, but in any case, it is both reproducible in Firefox 21.0 and IE10, so whatever it is it isn’t browser specific.
