Payment Screen Keeps Appearing For Customers, they are paying twice

Among other bugs, this is another MAJOR one that I 3 months ago when I tested your force upgrade and expected it to be solved by now. So yesterday I switched plugins and I get this from customers. Please update this immediately, today, September 30.
I paid like normal through the platform , but the difference this time is I received no message that payment was successfully processed after I paid. The same payment window just kept popping back up after I had already clicked the pay button, so I accidentally clicked it twice.
