    Hi,

is there any Option to implement a payment reminder (=option to manually send an email to the customer if he doesn‘t pay) as freeware?
I found only one plugin, but it overwrites the mail-template for annotation – but I need this Function, too.

    Regards

There isn’t really a way to do that, as most payment gateways set the order status to “failed” if the payment doesn’t go through. They don’t hold the order and then try again in an hour.

If you wanted to look into doing it yourself, you’d need to dig into the API of the specific payment gateway to figure out how to do it.

I think you unterstood me wrong: I don‘t want to syncronize with the Payment Gateway. I simply want a button e. g. in the order menu if I manually recognized that the customer hasn‘t paied. And this button should send a mail with a specific content like ?Dear Customer, you have to pay“

There is already sort of a way to do that – you can build further on it:

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
