Payment processing failed on Safari browser (macOS and iOS)

    Attempting to complete a purchase using Stripe on Safari (both macOS and iOS) results in the following error message when on the checkout page:

    Payment processing failed. Please retry.

    Payments complete without any issues on Firefox and Chrome.

    Details:

    WC version: 3.3.4
    WP version: 4.9.4
    Stripe: 4.0.7

    Any known issues with Safari at the moment?
