Payment options – free version

    I am using the free version of this plug-in, and want to set up a very important auction we’re doing to raise money for our bookstore, which is being backed by Neil Gaiman (signed books by him).

    Because this would probably burn any server farm known to man, our hosting service is cloning the WP versions and I’ll be setting up separate “versions” of each with one book each using your plug-in, up to 10 books for the auction.

    That’s all clear, and the sandbox worked okay for it, except for one thing:

    PAYMENT OPTIONS. I clicked on both “PayPal” and “Checque,” but when someone bids (I have it sandboxed), it always just goes to PayPal. They have no other option.

    Is it actually a FEATURE not a BUG that it can be set to EITHER Paypal or Checque for a given item, but not give the bidder an OPTION to chose their payment option????

    Hi,

    Sorry for delayed response.

    Admin when activates multiple payment method under Settings -> Payment, it allows him to choose the exact payment method when he is adding the auction. So, admin only gets payment via 1 payment method and thus bidder gets 1 option in email to pay via 1 payment method.

    I have a feature in my pipeline for PRO version to make multiple payment option available for bidders but it is still pending and would be coded soon.
