    Hi,

After much initial issues, Paid Member Subscriptions had been working fine for the past two months. I haven’t made any changes to the website or payment portals, in fact haven’t been around much since I got everything working. I received a steady flow of subscriptions and payments without issues since. But two weeks ago I was advised by a user that the payment options have disappeared from my REGISTER page. This issue is recurrent on all browsers, pc or mobile. https://rallygroupbshrine.org/paid-member-subscription/register/

Another user told me that he was able to register even though there were no payment options showing on the page and he still got access to the whole restricted content. Obviously, I am not quite happy with that!

I have been unable to find anything wrong to explain this. I’ve also disabled all security features and plugins to see if that fixed it and it did NOT. Let’s just say that we rely on your product to protect our content and bring us revenue. Please advise.

    Hi @rgbs,

First, please check to have the latest version of Paid Member Subscriptions, V2.12.3.

Then please do a conflict test (ideally in a staging environment):

Briefly* disable all other plugins and enable the default WordPress Twenty-Twenty theme. Please also disable all add-ons. If this fixes the problem, enable everything one by one, checking each time to see when the problem returns.

Note: You can start by first disabling the caching and/or the cookies plugins since these kinds of plugins might cause issues when they have their functionality active on the pages where you have our forms. In case the issue was because of a caching plugin, then our recommendation will be just to exclude the pages where you have our forms (like the Register, Login, etc) from the caching functionality.

Important:Please do the conflict test on a test site, not on the live site.

Important 2: On the staging/testing site you will have to activate Test Mode (from Paid Member Subscriptions -> Settings -> Payments page), and also you need to deactivate all the emails from our plugin (from Paid Member Subscriptions -> Settings -> E-Mails -> and toggle off all the emails).

    Hi @madalinaruzsa

WordPress hosts my website and I have auto-update for PMS so it is indeed at the lastest version.

I performed what you asked and no change; payment options still do not show.

If it can help give a direction to the case, a user told me that he played with VPN settings on his browser and payment options eventually showed for him. However, the problem remains for everyone else, including myself.

    Hi @rgbs,

Did you perform the conflict test on the live site or the staging site? Please send me the link to the site where you conducted the conflict test, along with a set of admin credentials, to the email: [email protected], so I can investigate further.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please DO NOT send admin credentials for your site here on www.remarpro.com.

    Hi @madalinaruzsa

If I understand correctly, you’re asking me to share my admin credentials so you can gain access to the website’s admin panel and possibly make changes, yes?

    Hi @rgbs,

In my previous message, I asked for admin access to the site where you conducted the conflict test and where the issue is still occurring. This will allow me to investigate what’s happening more thoroughly.

To make the investigation faster, it would be extremely helpful if you could set up a staging site. Here’s what we need:

    1. Conflict Test: On the staging site, please deactivate all plugins except for the essential ones and switch the theme to “Twenty Twenty.” This helps isolate the issue.
    2. Right-Click Disabled: On your live site, the option to right-click is disabled. Could you temporarily enable right-clicking? This will allow me to inspect the console for any JavaScript errors.
    3. Sensitive Data: With a staging site, you can remove all users and any sensitive information, as we do not need this data for the investigation.

The advantage of using a staging site is that it lets us troubleshoot without affecting your live environment. If setting up a staging site isn’t possible, don’t worry—we can work with your live site as well. We won’t make any changes without your explicit consent. But please temporarily enable right-clicking so I can inspect the console.

Please remember to send us admin access to the email hello@cozmoslabs.com, not here on wordpress.com
