    Hi,

I’m trying this plugin on a local server before planting it on a live site. But, the “Payment Method” options are not appearing in the Affiliate Dashboard Settings. I mean, how will the affiliate provide his/her payment details i.e. bank details or paypal ID? Under Affiliate Dashboard Settings, only “Enable Email notification” checkbox is appearing, nothing more. Please check the attached screenshot. Is it not available in the free version?

    Hi,

Please see here for details on payouts in the free version: https://couponaffiliates.com/docs/how-to-pay-affiliates-free-version/

Checked the documentation before posting here, and checked again. The documentation is incomplete just like the plugin. The documentation says about manual payout, or third party payout system. That much I’m aware of, but it doesn’t mention anything about the amount adjustment after manual payout; i.e. after making a manual payout the amount cannot be adjusted. Affiliate dashboard shows the entire amount. This will create confusion, also increases the potential fraudulent activities. There is no option available in the plugin to adjust the referral commission amount.

PS. I thought about purchasing the plugin, but $599 (lifetime) is completely absurd just for the payout option.

    Hi,

The affiliate dashboard shows their all-time and monthly statistics, along with all their recent referrals/orders. You shouldn’t really need to adjust any amounts on there.

The dashboard allows them to see how much they have earned since they started, each month, and for each specific day (on the “recent orders” tab).

As an admin you can use the admin reports to see total referrals/commissions for a specific date range: https://couponaffiliates.com/docs/admin-reports-analytics/

With that being said, if in your use case you do wish to reset the stats on their dashboard, there is a “coupon history start date” which would reset all the past statistics and only show orders/commissions after that date: https://i.gyazo.com/feb9dd8bf739a8ad48b6742042162525.png

Suppose, an affiliate earns ?530. I manually paid him/her ?400. Now, the affiliate’s dashboard should display the remaining balance ?130. How do I do that?

    Hi,

Which balance are you referring to exactly? There is no dedicated “remaining balance” amount in the free version.

The affiliate dashboard shows their all-time commission, this month, and last month.

If you could share a screenshot of the “remaining balance” you are referring to that would be great.

In the free version you can use the “admin reports” to calculate all commission earned with a certain date range, and complete your payouts manually. Next time you want to make a payout, you can generate a new report for the next date range. Many of our users (both free and pro) manage their payouts this way.

Which balance are you referring to exactly? There is no dedicated “remaining balance” amount in the free version. – There SHOULD be an “remaining balance” amount option for basic/manual checkout option. Suppose you are an affiliate of mine and you earned some amount of commission. I, as a website owner, want to make partial payout. As I mentioned in my previous question, suppose you earned 530 currency, I want to make partial payout of 400 currency. So, the remaining amount is 130 currency. Where would it appear?

The affiliate dashboard shows their all-time commission, this month, and last month. – There SHOULD be a basic payout option, and the dashboard SHOULD show the remaining amount after payout. Otherwise, the free version of this plugin is somewhat useless.

If you could share a screenshot of the “remaining balance” you are referring to that would be great. – I don’t understand your point. How can I show a screenshot which is not available in your plugin? It’s just a common concept of affiliation payout system, just like any digital wallet plugins.

In the free version you can use the “admin reports” to calculate all commission earned with a certain date range, and complete your payouts manually. Next time you want to make a payout, you can generate a new report for the next date range. Many of our users (both free and pro) manage their payouts this way. – This info is just not applicable in my query.

Thanks for your detailed feedback and opinions!

The documentation does essentially explain the answer to this:

Currently, our integrated payout management system is only available in the PRO version. Note: We are considering adding a basic version of our “payouts management system” to the FREE version in the future, however this is not 100% confirmed and there is no set date for this yet.

We’ll certainly take your feedback on board for future considerations, when we next work on the payouts system!

    All the best.

Currently, our integrated payout management system is only available in the PRO version. – That’s the primary reason behind my rating & review. I expected a minimalistic option at least.

We are considering adding a basic version of our “payouts management system” to the FREE version in the future… – This is much appreciable. Just a basic payout calculation system is necessary. You may keep the advanced options under PRO label. I hope for the best.

    No hard feelings mate.
