payment issue

  • Someone ordered a product on my website for $36.12 but the customer only sent 0.00066053 BTC which is $35.71. I looked at the customer checkout page and its asking for 0.00066053 BTC. why is it asking the wrong amount when it should be 0.00067 BTC $36.12 the correct amount.

    We use the exchange rate from CoinMarketCap. Where did you look up the exchange rate, and did you look it up at the exact time the API looked it up (every 15 minutes)? That would, as spanu says, explain the difference.
