We have WooCommerce and Elementor plugins installed. Whenever I open the “Edit with Elementor” for the front page, I get these two notices in the error log:

Payment gateway with handle 'wc-payment-method-bacs' has been deactivated in Cart and Checkout blocks because its dependency 'wc-blocks-registry' is not registered. Read the docs about registering assets for payment methods: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-blocks/blob/060f63c04f0f34f645200b5d4da9212125c49177/docs/third-party-developers/extensibility/checkout-payment-methods/payment-method-integration.md#registering-assets

    WC Version: 7.3.0
    WC Blocks Version: 9.1.5
    Action Scheduler Version: 3.4.0
    WP Version: 6.1.1

What could be the problem? (And why do payment gateway warnings appear when editing the front page, unrelated to the payment gateways?)

  • Hi @jaanise

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you are receiving the error message above when trying to open the “Edit with Elementor” for the front page.

I checked the Github Repository and found that this was already reported as a bug here: https://github.com/elementor/elementor/issues/20568

Can you please try the workaround provided on that thread to solve this temporarily?

Meanwhile, I would suggest subscribing to the thread to keep posted for updates.

    Thanks!

Thank you for finding the report!

I think I won’t apply the non-trivial work-around, but rather wait for WooCommerce to fix it, they’ve given feedback about this just a week ago: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-blocks/issues/7907#issuecomment-1408927815

    Hi @jaanise

Yes, our development team are working on it, and hopefully soon we will sort it out. If you have any new questions, please create a new ticket.

    Cheers!

I have almost the same problem.
Several times within one hour the pages of the blog post are endlessly loaded and at this moment I get this error in the logs.
    — // Payment gateway with handle ‘wc-payment-method-cod’ has been deactivated in Cart and Checkout blocks because its dependency ‘wp-polyfill’ is not registered. //–
Installing Elementor and WooCommerce on the site.
All other pages of the site and products in mgmzine always load normally.
How can I solve this problem?

    Hi @avdsm

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand you are experiencing the same issue and since every site is different and you’re not the person who originally started this topic then, per the forum guidelines, would you please start your own topic?

Additionally, please include your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

We’ll be more than happy to help there ??

Meanwhile, I would suggest subscribing to the Github thread to keep posted for updates.

    Thanks!
