    Hi Team,

    we have used this plugin for the payment but it’s taking too long, usually more than a min for the response time and payment success which is annoying.

    how can we reduce the payment processing response time.

    I have taken a look at your current site and am not seeing our payment method (/plugin) active on the site at the moment. We would be interested to take a look at the site with our plugin and see what happens, but you might want to do this on a staging site instead, so you don’t affect your live site.

    You can reach out to us privately via these instructions, so you can share details that show the issue and indicate the issue is caused by our plugin (please add the URL of this thread in the ticket as well). The website did seem a bit slow, so I want to check where the delay is being caused first.

    Sorry about that, I now did a same test and for me, it even took 3 and a half minutes for the payment to be verified and confirmed. This is definitely not normal, and I’m sorry to say that I expect the hosting server to be the cause of this delay…

    However, I think it would be good to test one thing: try to test the same purchase, but with all other plugins turned off (except WooCommerce and PayPal Payments) and replace your current theme with the Storefront theme. This way, we can be sure that no other plugins are causing the issue. If the issue persists, I think you need to get in touch with your hosting partner or find another solution.

    Just for letting you know: when I tested a card payment on my environment, it took 39ms in total. Have you also tried other payment options, just to see if they get the same huge delay? You might also want to try the PayPal payment method for this.

    hi joost,

    we have tried almost everything like disabling all plugins except woo commerce and PayPal one and getting the same delayed response. what to do next ?

    The only option I can think of is to contact your hosting provider and ask them if they can take a look at this. If no plugin combination is causing this, the only bottleneck left seems to be the server hosting speed / response time.

    Sorry that there is nothing actionable from our end I can suggest.
