Payment gateway addons for CF7

  • I’ve been using the “PayPal addon for Contact Form 7” for quite a while, and I like how well it integrates into Contact Form 7. But I would really, REALLY like to see if there are alternatives that also allow for a “Manual Pay” option (so people can use things like Venmo, Cashapp, send a check, etc).

    I asked the folks at the PayPal addon forum, and they said it’s on their developer’s wish list – but it doesn’t sound like it is coming anytime soon.

    Note that I don’t mind paying for a plugin ONCE; I don’t even mind the ones that you pay for then if you want to keep the maintence going you pay for later. But most of the other “form plugins” have payment options all seem to be just renting the plugin. I am most certainly NOT interested in a plugin I have to pay for over and over again.

    If I understand well, you want to have the option to pay with PayPal, but also to choose a different manual payment method like the ones you mentioned, right? If so, a possible solution that comes to my mind is to have a different form for manual payments that allow your customers to choose between all the options (e.g. using a dropdown/select field) and complete the payment reference in a text field. You could add in both forms a footer text to let your customer know that they have a different form for manual/automatic payments.
