    I use your plugin on my WordPress site and it’s been working great for long time. However, the past two weeks I’ve been getting this intermittent problem where clients try to pay and their payments fail with a “Bad_request: intent_mismatch” error message.

    I tried to do a search for this online but have come across only one instance of someone else having this issue but no solution. (That was on Square’s forum)

    I’m putting this here hoping it has something to do with your plugin since it’s connected to Square. I’ve disconnected and reconnected the plugin, but don’t think that helps. To make matters more annoying, some clients have this problem, others do not, so it’s hard to nail down what is going on.

    WooCommerce had a major update to 3.9.2 about two weeks ago, so my guess is there’s something in it that is now conflicting with your plugin.

    Which plugin version are you on?

    Looks like there are total 5-6 same complaints at this moment including yours. But this issue happened on my website for only 1 customer. Rest of the people are doing good. But for that 1 customer, it happened like 10 times.

    @esch have you tried downgrading the plugin to see if payment will work again?

    No I haven’t because I’m not exactly sure where to get it. I upgraded it from within WordPress, so don’t have an old copy of it laying around offline.

    I didn’t try it, but I’m sure it probably would. All I know for sure is that the latest version, 2.10 screwed it up for my client.

    Thanks for the link to where the previous versions are. I downgraded to 2.08, let’s hope that fixes the problem till they find out what is going on.

    Hi all,

    Is everyone getting the same Bad_request: intent_mismatch error, or are there different errors happening? Please let us know more information so we can track this down and get it fixed ??

    That is the error that my site is consistently getting. At this point, about half of the purchases are encountering. Super frustrating.

    I can’t place a number on mine, unfortunately. It’s very infrequent and I can’t even give a ratio to successful transactions to not, but it has happened enough where it started becoming an issue for me.

    Hi,

    Our site has the same trouble. I’m using “WooCommerce Square” 2.1.0. Should I downgrade? This problem started around February 27.

    @tagani Once I downgraded to the 2.0.8 the problem stopped.

    We’ve been having the same problem — same error, about the same time period. We’re using Square 2.1.0 as well. Haven’t bailed back to 2.0.8 yet but that’s next if there’s no fix to the plugin.
