PAyment and shipping problem

I understand you are looking to switch up the checkout process a tad, but I’m not 100% clear on what you are asking. I see from the example site that the checkout was broken up into different steps, where shipping methods were selected before taking payment. Is this perhaps what you mean?

If so, you’ll want to look into using a plugin to create a multi-step checkout, and I found a few that look like they will collect shipping on a different page before payment:
