Payment after trial period

You would need to create two separate levels – a trial level which would have an initial amount set and an expiration date of 7 days (no actual trial setting checked).

Once expired, you would need to them prompt those members to sign up for a paying level that charges an initial and recurring amount.

Thanks for support but this way doesn’t solve our problem. We have 3 different levels but the free trial is only for one of these.

In detail, the “network level” is based on a free registration and 7 days trial so that we can value the user’s skills and, if accepted, make it active. For this reason we can’t ask the payment in the registration moment, but after the 7 days trial period. How can we do it?

The above solution allows you to not ask for payment on initial signup – once the trial ends you can then have them sign up for a level that requires billing information.

Each level has it’s own billing parameters so you wouldn’t be able to require payment from a trial that doesn’t require payment later on down the line.

We yet didn’t solve the problem.

We would like to let user can register to a level that requires payment but at the start user will not pay. We give a free trial and at the end of the free period user will receive a link to complete payment.

Is possible to do it? Thanks

Jarryd, are you not aware that it is in fact possible to accomplish in v2.12.10? I have my subscriptions set up with a 7 day trial period and billing to start after 7 days (albeit still not sure if it’s possible with Paypal Express because I’m still waiting for you to respond to my topic.)

Additionally, you are closing topics too soon! I, and apparently other people, are not getting email notifications from WordPress that a reply was made to our topic. I have to keep refeshing the page to see if there’s any new responses to my topics.
