Ok, so we managed to create an account, finally!

We tested it and it seems to work fine.

Now, we have some questions if you could please help us.

Is it possible to include the card holder’s first and last name in the checkout page where he/she will fill in the card’s details?

    Like in the image example.

We are in Greece. We have a business PayPal account. Can we use Payflow payment gateway, provided we sign up for an account for it?

Thank you very much in advance.

The way the plugin is designed is modeled after what Woo did with their own plugin, which is to simply use the billing address name as the name for the card, and then under card details we just have the number, expiration, and security code.

I realize that sometimes the name on the card may differ. I’ve added this issue to our GitHub repo so that we can address it and add it in a future release. We’ll probably create an option in the Payments Pro settings page that allows you to specify whether or not you want to display separate name fields for the card apart from the billing details.

Unfortunately, Payments Pro in general is only currently available in the US, UK, or Canada, so the PayPal account would have to be based in one of those countries in order to get approved for Pro.

I’m going to go ahead and mark this as resolved, but let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. Thanks!

Thank you very much for your reply.

    I have one more question.

Is it possible with the PayPal Express option that my customers will see this when decide to use PayPal?

I read somewhere that you can see this option Only when you use PayPal Standard, but that doesn’t make sense. Is that the issue?
I have checked PayPal Account optional. Both in the plugin settings and also in the paypal test account.

Problem is I am using Sandbox to test and I cannot see the above option “Don’t have a PayPal account?”
I see “Create a PayPal account”.

    Am I doing something wrong?

You can indeed use Guest Checkout with Express Checkout, and in fact it works much better than with Payments Standard.

To get it working you would need to verify these things.

    – PayPal Account Optional is enabled in the PayPal account (sandbox or live) that you’re working with.
    – “Enable guest checkout” needs to be turned on in the general Checkout tab of WooCommerce settings.
    – In the Express Checkout settings, make sure PayPal Account Optional is enabled.
    – Also in the Express checkout settings, make sure Landing Page is set to Billing.

With those things in place it should give you what you’re after.

We have now added the option to include a separate “cardholder name” on the checkout page as opposed to using the billing name. This has been merged into the release branch on GitHub and will be included in the next update.

If you want to grab it early you can download it here.
