    The order status remains Pending after successful Payfast transaction.
    They have looked on their side and everything is in order.

    With regards to order statuses not updating after the receipt of a successful payment it’s usually due to either a misconfiguration of the payment gateway or the payment service not being able to communicate with your WooCommerce site.

    For PayFast you can find the plugin documentation below and we’d suggest double-checking all of your entered details and also enable Debug Logging for transactions too.

    You’ll then be able to take a look at the log files for future transactions to see if those contain any information which can help identify as to why the order statuses are not being updated for you.
