Hi,

When I create a manual order and send the order details to my customer to ask for the payment, then this link in the email does not contain my domain name.

it only contains ?pay_for_order=true&key=wc_order_xxxxxxx#/order-pay/xxxxx/

Also if I click in the manual order on the Customer Payment Page in the backend then I just end up on the WordPress Posts backend page.

Any idea why this isn’t working anymore and how to fix it?

Hi there!

I’ve tried replicating the issue on my site by creating a test order, and I can see the domain URL appearing correctly on my end. I wasn’t able to replicate the issue. Also, regarding the issue where the Customer Payment Page in the backend redirects to the WordPress posts page, It seems like there might be some settings or a plugin on your site causing this issue.

To troubleshoot further, could you please first update your WordPress to the latest version? I would recommend creating a staging site, then updating WordPress to the latest version. After that, try re-saving your site’s permalinks by going to Settings > Permalinks and saving the settings without making any changes.

I have updated everything and also checked out the permalinks but nothing has improved the situation.
After further investigation I noticed that the function get_checkout_payment_url is getting the wrong url from somewhere

This is the relevant code that should create the url.
Furthermore the structure of the payment link also seems to be a bit off, have tried to manually manipulate it to get to the payment page but haven’t been successful as of yet (tried both as admin and non logged in user).

Example of what is currently as link:

?pay_for_order=true&key=wc_order_bCsm1p4tDAITU#/order-pay/6213160117122/

From information I can find online I get the impression that the order seems wrong, shouldn’t the /order-pay/<order id>/ be before the pay_for_order?

Have also tried to disable several plugins that could have an effect into this but nothing gave any difference.

I know that this worked in the past, but it’s already weeks, perhaps months ago since it was last used.

Any further ideas?
