    Hello @rosalitoudtohan

thank you for reaching out, we will try our best to help you fix this or explain the logic behind our plugin. However, can you explain a bit further what the issue is?
What payment options are you switching between? What causes the amount to change when you change between payment options?

Please give a bit more details so we can possibly recreate the issue in our testing environment.

    Thank you.

you can try ordering this product: https://tipmrebuilders.com/product/dodge-ram-tipm-part-04692319-rebuilt/

on the checkout page, you see a radio options named ‘Extend Warranty’, switching these options will update the final total order price but not on the PayPal Pay Later widget.

I noticed the PayPal Pay Later widget dynamically updates when on cart page, but not on checkout page when we dynamically update price.

    Hello @rosalitoudtohan

thank you for clarifying this issue. In this situation, I can not really test it, since I would only see the error when I place the order, but I think I might know what is causing this issue.

First of all: what plugin are you using to add the extended warranty costs?

Currently, we are working on a bug we found that is being caused when additional costs are being added at a later stage. The issue shows in the PayPal pop up in a way that the product details are not being shown (drop-down item next to the price in the top right of this popup). I am wondering if this could also cause the additional costs not to flow through. We are working on a fix for this issue. For your case, I am far from sure if it is related. I am checking with our developers on this.

Would it be possible to provide us with a staging site, so we can take a look at your setup? If you are ok with this, it is probably best to open a Service Desk ticket, so we can exchange details more securely. You can open such a ticket via these instructions: https://paypal.inpsyde.com/docs/how-to-request-support-via-widget-on-the-website/

Let me know how you want to proceed.
    Kind regards,
    Joost

“a bug we found that is being caused when additional costs are being added at a later stage”

-This is literally what I’m experiencing. The Price on the Pay Later pop up widget won’t update If I update or add additional costs.

I am not using any plugin for extended warranty costs. It’s a custom code.

    Hello @rosalitoudtohan,

Then I would expect that this custom code is causing the same issue as are working on. Would it be possible to share the custom code that you are using? This way I can ask our developer if this is the same issue he is working on.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Thanks for the report, Rosalito!
Since we have an ongoing internal support ticket about this, I will close this thread for now and provide more information in our support ticket.
