I’m testing your plugin in our development environment and having trouble getting Pay Later to work correctly. Basically when I choose that option it just behaves as if I want to do a regular PayPal payment instead of offering me the 4-payment option.

I’ve tried logging in using a couple different sandbox accounts I set up in PayPal developer and also tried using my personal PayPal account. Can’t seem to get it to work right. Can you please have a look and tell me what might be going on here? Maybe I’m missing something.

Here’s a few screenshots to help:

One thing I noticed that might be the issue is a setting in my PayPal Developer app that is grayed out–the checkbox for vaulting which I can’t seem to uncheck. Could this be the issue?

Appreciate any insights–we can’t really move forward with this until I can verify that Pay Later is working properly.

    Hi @megunticook,

It sounds like you’re having an issue with the Pay Later option not showing up in the PayPal popup window. But if you do see the Pay Later button on your site, then the integration is working as expected.
However, if PayPal doesn’t provide you with any Pay Later options in the popup, then it’s likely that PayPal has determined that the buyer is not eligible for Pay Later features. For further information regarding this, I would recommend reaching out to the PayPal Merchant Support.
This is generally not a problem, and we have found that it works fine with the accounts we use for testing.

Regarding your screenshots, unfortunately, they are not loading. Could you please try attaching them again, so we can take a look?
    Thanks!

As for the setting in your PayPal Developer app, the vaulting checkbox that is grayed out is not related to the issue you’re having. When you connect your PayPal account with the onboarding wizard, a new REST app will be created, and Vaulting will be enabled for it. Enabling Vaulting for the REST app is a one-time process and cannot be reverted. The Vaulting feature is only active when you enable it in the plugin as well. In that case, Pay Later features would not be available and disabled in the Pay Later tab.

    Kind regards,
    Niklas

Thanks, I’m going to try creating a new sandbox app after activating PayPal Advance Payments in our Business account to see if that resolves it. Will report back.

Sorry, PayPal’s sandbox environment seems to be having serious issues and we’re still testing to make sure this is resolved. Waiting on PayPal right now to fix some things on their end.
