    Hi!

I reported the WooCommerce PayPal Payments configuration on the live site https://www.beachtribe.it. The “PAY IN THREE INSTALLMENTS” button is displayed in the right positions, while I no longer see the “Pay Later” message in the positions where I set it. In the development site with SandBox enabled it was correctly displayed on the single product page and in the cart but now it no longer appears although the settings are the same. The message should appear for example here: “https://beachtribe.it/prodotto/racchetta-beach-tennis-racket-ace-acid-green-2021/” between the ADD TO CART button and the category TAGS.
Some idea? Thanks for your help.

    Hello @many17

Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.

When the PayPal messaging is not showing, that can be caused by a temporary situation with your account. When the PayPal account was used with a “website payment standard” integration in the last 10 days (some form of legacy PayPal integration), then the Pay Later messaging might not be displayed.

In these cases, you can reach out to PayPal Merchant Technical Support to check your account. We have done this in the past and got this response.

You don’t need to enable REST on your account, just start accepting REST payments. You can either use the PayPal Smart Payment Button (SPB) or REST API (V2) –
JavaScript SDK – https://developer.paypal.com/docs/business/javascript-sdk/js-sdk-performance/REST API – https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/orders/v2/If you are using a third party shopping cart, you should find out if they use SPB with their integration.
Pay in 4 message is being affected (not shown) when using WPS (Website Payment Standard). When I was checking your PayPal account, it looks like you accept WPS, which is our legacy button. Unfortunately, the use of Website Payments Standard buttons within the last 10 days on your account causes the Pay in 4 messaging to not display

You can verify your account eligibility with PayPal on this here: https://www.paypal-techsupport.com/s/login/
When it works with sandbox but not your live account, it must be account related.

Let me know if this is correct and if it helps you resolve the issue.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

Thanks for your help. Before, I used the simple Paypal Standard plugin. I read what you wrote but it’s a bit complicated for me, I didn’t think you had to integrate the codes and I was hoping it would be easier to make the message appear like in the test version. I have a child theme with the functions file and header file but I don’t really know how to go about it. But the “PAGA IN 3 RATE” button appears correctly.

    Thanks for your patience

    Hello @many17

You should not have to integrate any code, and it should start working after some time. However, you might want to reach out to https://www.paypal-techsupport.com/s/login/ to verify your account and the situation.

Please let me know if these are the answers you were looking for or if you require any additional support from our end.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hello @many17

Since I did not hear from you, I will mark this thread as resolved, but you can reopen it if the issue is still not resolved.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

@joostvandevijver My client is also having this issue, having switched from the PayPal Standard plugin.

I have advised him to reach out to PayPal support as detailed above, but as there is obviously an issue, perhaps this should be looked at further?

    Hello @clnetbop

Having just switched over from another PayPal plugin, this would make sense that Pay Later is not showing up. It can take some time before it will appear (we were informed by PayPal Merchant Technical Support). It would be best to get in contact with them first and open a new thread if they believe this is caused by our plugin.

    Kind regards,
    Joost
