On our product page, basket and cart the PayPal Pay Later button is incorrectly showing in Italian “Paga in 3 rate” despite our store language being en_GB.

We’ve tested from multiple devices all located in the UK. The hosting server is also located in the UK. All devices have English as their main language.

    What could cause this?

    Thanks

    Hi @thatweblook,

I’m not sure why the Italian Pay Later button would be loading on your UK site for UK buyers. This is not a language or translation problem – it is a different button than the one UK buyers should see, and I would assume it to be related to the PayPal account.
The plugin doesn’t do anything, in particular, to load one Pay Later button or another; it only tells PayPal the funding method is enabled, and PayPal delivers the buttons if the buyer is eligible.

I suggest connecting a UK sandbox account to verify whether or not it’s a problem with the account and if it confirms, then reaching out to the PayPal MTS to clarify the behavior.

    Kind regards,
    Niklas

    Hello @thatweblook

I am unsure if this has been fixed for you, but checking on your site again, I am unable to replicate this issue.
