First off I have to give props for the work that’s been done here. This plugin has more potential than any Membership plugin I’ve ever used, and trust me, I’ve used them all (Memberpress, Wishlist Member, Paid Membership Pro, Magic Members – I could go on and on).

Currently, I’m using Gravity Forms for my registration form (I use Stripe but Gravity Forms also integrates with Authorize.net), Profile Builder Pro for my front end login/reset password/edit profile, and Groups by itthinx.

I can’t stand Groups. It’s a really simple plugin but the UI/UX is as confusing as I’ve ever seen, it’s messing up my menu (when I deactivate it, the menu goes back to the way it should be) so I have decided to abandon it to use Members by Justin Tadlock or Ultimate Member.

So far, Ultimate Member looks to be a solution that can replace both Profile Builder Pro and Groups, but I’m not sure if it can replace Gravity Forms for my paid registration form.

    1. Does Ultimate Member allow paid registration forms by integrating with Stripe or Authorize.net?

If so, this plugin should receive a six star rating on a five star scale. Seriously.

If not, I have to continue using Gravity Forms for my registration form (since registered members have to pay) but I can remove PBPro and Groups which is great. Your plugin actually replaces two extremely popular / useful plugins which is fantastic!!

    2. If the answer to question 1 is no, how can I get users that register using Gravity Forms into the whole Ultimate Member ecosystem of content protected pages and posts?

Have I mentioned that I love your plugin? ??

    Cheers!

    Thanks ??

I like this plugin too, but I do not want to spend 200 dollars to add a payment field to registration. There must be an easier way.

Otherwise, I will need to resort to a plugin that is more affordable with this feature, such as this one:
    https://codecanyon.net/item/ultimate-membership-pro-wordpress-plugin/12159253

Any idea when this pay feature might be integrated into the registration?

    Thanks!

    PS

    With the WooCommerce extension,

Maybe you can have users not have access to restricted content – and when they purchase a certain product for a new member role – you could make them a “member” once paid?

But then people will be able to create profiles without paying, so that’s sort of an extraneous process…

Any input much appreciated, that won’t require a 200 developers license for GF ??

    Thanks!!!

    Been searching and searching,

I’d pay just to have a “member fee” field for each form….

This cannot be so complicated Lol

    Right?

    Hi Paul,

We do not have any paid membership functionality in our free version or in any of our extensions. It probably wont be for quite a few months until we can add paid functionality into UM as we have a lot of stuff planned already.

    Thanks ??

Bummer. This is make or break on this.

What about the WooCommerce method mentioned above?

A user registers – and the are “User”

Now, let’s say they purchase a “product” that upgrades their role… e.g. “Membership”

Then they will be upgraded to a different specified level of user?

We can’t discus paid products here I am sorry – we do not want to break the rules of these forums.
