Pause/play issues with custom stylesheet

Thank you for this plugin, it works great! I have noticed one small problem that I’m hoping someone here can help me out with. I have 4 slideshows on a page each with the play/pause controls visible. I’ve applied a custom stylesheet and I’ve noticed that sometimes when I click the pause control I have to click it a couple of times before the slideshow actually pauses. The button toggles to the play button, then immediately back to the pause button and the slideshow itself doesn’t pause. I originally thought it might be an error with playState but now I’ve noticed it’s only happening on my custom styled slideshows.

Does anyone have any ideas on this problem?
