Patreon avatar overtaking WordPress/Gravatar avatar
-
It seems that the Patreon plugin prefers using the avatar that Patreon uses, instead of WordPress/Gravatar.
The problem is that:
- My avatar is displayed throughout my website. The avatar image I’ve used in Patreon is rectangular, so the avatar displayed in my site looks squashed.
- Why the heck are Patreon avatars take precedence over my website/wordpress/gravatar avatars in the first place? I can understand if it’s to replace the default avatars, but I really don’t think Patreon should replace them if an avatar is already available.
I’ve tried changing my profile pic in Patreon, but it doesn’t seem to update the one in my website.Oh nevermind, it seems it used my Creator page’s profile pic. BUT I’ve already changed it, then removed and reconnected the Patreon to my website, but my avatar in my website did not change at all.- I’ve just tried logging-out, then logging-in using Patreon in my website. It updated the avatar. I’m not sure if it’s that or Patreon needed some time to clear the cache for the newly updated avatar though.
