• Honestly, EVENTIN promises so much and occasionally delivers on some of it.

    The latest changes do not solve all of the pre-existing bugs, styling issues, event management, etc. and introduce more problems.

    How the hell are you meant to add a link to text within the paragraph block? You can’t do it in the way you’d expect in a Gutenberg block – the option is just not available.

    I don’t think these developers have any idea of the way an actual event might get scheduled – the latest updates force you to have an event start time and end time as well as start date and end date – very inflexible and frustrating and you had to wade through the poor documentation for the new release, which is written in mostly very poor English. It’s hard to make sense of many things they have implemented.

    So much promise, so little delivered.

    Unfortunately, I have a lifetime pro licence and Clients who are invested in the functionality that works, so it’s hard to abandon it.

    Issues encountered lately:

    • Can’t add phone number for Organiszer or Speaker – essential info
    • Can’t turn paragraph text into a link in the description
    • No styling of individual text in paragraph in description
    • Badges for categories no longer displaying correctly – they display correctly on the archive page, but not on the single event page

Omitting the date and time could disrupt the successful execution of recurring events and other related features.

    • Ans: This is a feature request and obviously essential info. But on the speaker and Organizer description, you can add it easily. For this, you can’t give us 1 star rating.
    • Can’t turn paragraph text into a link in the description
    • Ans: We already fixed this as you have claimed, so please allow us some time. After done the QA we will release it.
    • No styling of individual text in paragraph in description
    • Ans: Our team is already working on it. Hope soon we will give a nice output.
    • Badges for categories no longer displaying correctly – they display correctly on the archive page, but not on the single event page
    • Ans: Could you please share where is the exact issue with the badge? You can share screen records or screenshots about it. As we can check there are no issues with the categories badge on the single event layout page.
